SUDBURY, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Future exploratory drilling for Flag Resources, on its Sudbury, Ontario,
area mineral holdings, includes a previous deep vertical drill hole into
Laundry Lake, located 1 mile northeast of Wolf Lake, Mackelcan Township.
Laundry Lake is the strongest magnetic body in the 54 mile long
Wanapeiti Anomoly.
Flag drilled LL93-94-01 to the vertical depth of 4462 feet, on the
northwest shoreline of Laundry Lake. It intersected altered sedimentary
rock throughout, with intermittent intervals of copper, pyrite, Sudbury
Breccia, magnetic and mafic dykes which Flag suggests may be stringers
coming from the magnetic body in Laundry Lake. A copy of the 157 page
LL93-94-01 drill hole report may be asked for by written request only.
Flag is proceeding with its current drilling project, exploratory
drilling below the gold/copper bearing zone on the southwest shore of
Wolf Lake, Mackelcan Township.
