Rays of recovery - Ssangyong Motor sales in August more than triple

South Korea's smallest automaker Ssangyong Motor Co said that its sales in August more than tripled from a year earlier, helped by strong overseas demand for its large sport utility vehicles.

The company sold a total of 6,534 vehicles last month, compared with 2,012 units a year earlier.
